VINTAGE & UNDERVALUED PRE-CBS FENDER …

1957 FENDER MUSICMASTER

w/ BEAUTIFUL OLYMPIC WHITE FINISH

There is NOTHING like a nice, vintage Fender. And if you're looking for that very special vintage Fender that won't break the bank or cause your wife to walk out the front door, then here it is! This is a vintage - AND VERY AFFORDABLE - 1957 Fender Musicmaster electric guitar with an Olympic White finish.

There's good news and bad news. First, the good news: just about everything on this great vintage guitar is original, including the pickup, the body, the neck, the pickguard, the neck plate, the strap buttons, the bridge and saddles, bridge cover, string trees and even the original pickup cover. The bad news (if you can even call it that) is that the guitar has been professionally refinished, the original gold pickguard was painted gold again (only the top), the tuners were changed to Grovers, a new pickup cover was installed, the nut was changed to a brass nut, the pots, input jack and knobs are not original, and the case is also not original.

That said, the parts that do matter the most are definitely original, and this incredible Fender sounds amazing! Plug this baby into any amp - Fender, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, WHATEVER - and it REALLY comes alive. The lone singlecoil pickup sounds just as good - or better - today as it did the day it left Fender over 50 years ago. The neck date is penciled "5 - 57", and it plays like buttah! Of course, the neck does show some wear, but we believe the frets are original, and with plenty of life left on them. The Fender decal on the headstock is intact, but the "MUSICMASTER" underneath the Fender name is mostly gone. You can still see some of it, but most of it has worn off.

Take a close look at the 47 hi-res pictures below and see for yourself. This one doesn't need much explaining. As we said before, the guitar has been played and shows the wear of 50-plus years, but there isn't one thing that takes anything away from the beauty, playability and overall tone of this wonderful instrument. Any GREAT guitar gets played, and this one is no different. Serial number is -21507.

Also comes with a non-original black hardshell case.
